Zhang Zhao’s third piano suite "Luo Zuo and Folk Song" is composed and adapted from the dance music of Yunnan Province,China.These dance music originated from Waji Township,Yuanjiang Hani,Yi and Dai Autonomous County,Yuxi City,Yunnan Province,and the south bank of the Honghe River,Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province.In addition,this work has the charm of "Haicai Tune",a Chinese vocal music genre in the north bank of the Honghe River in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province.This article mainly focuses on music analysis and performance analysis,introduces the author Zhang Zhao and the creation background of his work "Luo Zuo and Folk Song",and analyzes the musical form,tonality,and harmony of each piano piece in it,summarizes the rules and musical characteristics of these three piano pieces in terms of overall layout,musical form structure,mode and tonality,and work style.Then compare the characteristics of the regional music elements with the music characteristics of the work,such as melody,mode,harmony,cadence,etc.,and integrate the content of the text analysis into the performance practice,so as to achieve the unity of practice and theory,and expounds more intuitively how the characteristics of regional ethnic music in Yunnan Province are expressed in performance.
