Since the end of the 19 th century,under the impact of Western culture,the trend of thought of “opera reform” has become popular.Since then,the trend of reform thought has been affecting the development of Chinese opera art.In the wave of reform,many Peking opera artists have joined.This thesis takes Cheng Yanqiu,a Chinese Peking Opera master,as the research object for a case study.Through the research on literature and other materials,the unique features of Cheng Yanqiu’s reform thought are presented,and the impact of his reform ideas of “academic nature” on the art of Peking Opera is explored.The main body of this thesis consists of three chapters:The first chapter analyzes Cheng Yanqiu’s composition thinking,the reform concept of Qingyi singing,and the new idea of improving the accompaniment of Peking Opera,so as to explore Cheng Yanqiu’s reform concept and its influence on Qingyi singing music.The second chapter studies and sorts out Cheng Yanqiu’s innovative ideas under the“stylized” rules,the reform ideas using local opera and western directorology for reference,and the concept of drama that attaches importance to “empathy”,so as to present Cheng Yanqiu’s reform ideal in Peking Opera performance;The third chapter explores Cheng Yanqiu’s reform ideas of opera teaching by referring to western teaching theories and integrating Chinese and western drama theories,in order to explore Cheng Yanqiu’s “academic nature” characteristics of Peking Opera talents training. |
