The Aesthetic Expression Of Regional Cultural Elements In Traditional Animation Works

Regional culture refers to the cultural characteristics in terms of history,folklore,ecology,language and lifestyle that are unique to a certain region or country.China is a country with a long history and rich culture,and the regional cultures in different regions of China also carry a unique charm and profound connotation.The so-called "different in the same" and "the same in the same" is to show a considerable degree of identification with the differences and commonalities of different regions,different ethnic groups or groups and individuals of the same region or ethnic group.On the one hand,this identity is based on the ancient Chinese regional view,and on the other hand,it is also influenced by specific historical periods,specific environments and different political,economic and cultural backgrounds.With the development of globalization and the deepening of cultural exchanges,animation as an important cultural form has received more and more extensive attention.For a long time,scholars have only focused on the application of the elements of regional culture in animation works with traditional themes,lacking in-depth excavation and research on its aesthetic spirit and aesthetic value,and showing a trend of homogenization.However,the development of animation industry can contribute to the promotion of Chinese national culture and improve the country’s cultural soft power.Specifically,the colors,ornamental patterns,costumes and props,music and picture scenes in animation works with traditional themes can adopt the historical monuments,geographical landscapes and folk customs in the regional culture of China as creative materials.As a unique communication medium,animation art can make our traditional theme animation works more nationally distinctive and contemporary by integrating regional cultural elements.It not only improves the artistic charm and cultural connotation of animation works,but also is very conducive to the dissemination of regional culture.The aesthetic value contained in regional culture is moreover the source of the aesthetic interest and spiritual pursuit of human beings,which provides an inexhaustible source of fresh water for the creation of animation art in China.Therefore,integrating regional culture with aesthetics can enhance people’s identity and confidence in local culture,enrich people’s aesthetic enjoyment and emotional experience,and promote cultural diversity and the development of human civilization.The focus of this paper is to select some animation works with typical regional characteristics,sort out the regional cultural elements,summarize their aesthetic characteristics and aesthetic spirit,and analyze and examine their aesthetic value from the aesthetic perspective.It aims to provide references for the innovation and development of animation works with traditional themes,and make contributions to the inheritance of the long-standing regional culture and the dissemination of national culture in China.
