| A Han Jing(《阿含经》)is an early Buddhist classic.The Chinese translation of the northern A Han Jing is divided into four parts,namely,the Chang A Han Jing(《长阿含经》),the Zhong A Han Jing(《中阿含经》),Za A Han Jing(《杂阿含经》),and the Zeng Yi A Han Jing(《增壹阿含经》).It plays a pivotal role in the Hinayana Tibetan Sutra.A large number of Buddhist classics have been preserved in Dunhuang documents,including many copies and engravings of A Han Jing(《阿含经》).This paper makes a comprehensive investigation on the 356 Dunhuang version of the A Han Jing(《阿含经》),and takes it as the main research object.On the basis of the conjugated and named documents,it compares it with the handed down version of the Tibetan Sutra and the Buddhist sound and meaning,finds a considerable number of different texts,and classifies and distinguishes them.The article mainly includes four parts:Introduction: Summarize the previous studies on the reason for the name and translator of the Chinese version of the Sutra of Ahan,and explain the object of the study of variant texts,the selected materials and research methods.Chapter one:Literature arrangement.The unnamed fragment total 19 was named,correcting the mistakes of the former sages named total 3,and the fragment total 49and fragments were combined into 18 groups,clarifying the source of the version of the Dunhuang version of the A Han Jing(《阿含经》).Chapter two:The types and textual research of variant writings.The article divides the variant texts between the Dunhuang version of the A Han Jing(《阿含经》)and the handed down version of the Tripitaka,Buddhist sutras and other materials into three categories:"variant texts at the collation level","variant texts at the writing level",and"variant texts at the vocabulary level".For each type of variant texts,several examples are selected for textual research,and their causes and nature are analyzed.In this process,the Dunhuang version of the A Han Jing(《阿含经》)was preliminarily collated,and some errors in the handed down version of the A Han Jing(《阿含经》)were corrected;He has interpreted a number of difficult and common words and combed the relationship between related words;The evolution and replacement of some words are analyzed.Chapter three:The value of the study of Buddhist scriptures.Combined with the examples of variant texts in the Dunhuang version of the A Han Jing(《阿含经》),this paper explains the important value of variant texts in the compilation of dictionaries,the problem of"one word with many shapes"in Chinese,and the textual research of words. |
