Study On Traditional Agricultural Tools And Their Value In Sansui County Of Guizhou Province

The "Wang Zhen Nong Shu" states: “If a covering is not a field,it cannot be made;if a field is not a tool,it cannot be made.”Cultivated land and agricultural tools are inseparable.From the history of agricultural development in China,the history of agriculture began with the use of agricultural tools.Traditional agricultural tools,as production tools for agricultural development,are tailored to local conditions and times,highlighting farmers’ mastery of agricultural technology and showcasing human wisdom.In the southeast of Sansui County,Guizhou Province,the natural environment is full of changes,and the rich vegetation types can provide different raw materials for the production of traditional agricultural tools,creating the diversity of traditional agricultural tools.In addition,Sansui County is a county where many ethnic groups live together and there are many folk festivals.The rich and colorful cultural environment makes the traditional farm tools have both similarities and differences.This paper analyzes the types and cultural characteristics of traditional farm tools in Sansui County,Guizhou Province by means of literature research and Field research,explores the forms and characteristics of traditional farm tools in different environments,excavates the value of traditional farm tools,and finally puts forward the protection and utilization mechanism of traditional farm tools in a living society according to the current situation of their utilization,in order to provide reference for the research of traditional farm tools in other regions.The following are the main conclusions:(1)Sansui County has rich types of traditional farm tools,and the "types" of traditional farm tools vary from region to region,especially in areas inhabited by ethnic minorities.In addition,the unique cultural environment has endowed the traditional farm tools with folk cultural significance.The traditional farm tools in Sansui County are not only used for agricultural activities,but also for local folk activities.(2)According to their functions,traditional farm tools in Sansui County can be divided into dozens of types,such as land preparation tools,sowing tools,irrigation tools,harvesting tools,processing tools,transportation and traction tools.From the comprehensive analysis of the structure,function and development process of traditional farm tools in Sansui County,we can see that the traditional farm tools in Sansui County are characterized by continuity,diversity,regionalism,scientificity,practicality,environmental protection,etc.(3)Based on the current situation of traditional agricultural tools,three aspects of exploration were conducted and some suggestions were put forward: firstly,traditional agricultural tools should be included in museum exhibitions as exhibits.The audience level faced by museums is diverse,and expanding the inheritance subject is beneficial for the protection and inheritance of traditional agricultural tools.By combining traditional agricultural tools with the tourism market,cultural and creative products and miniaturized traditional agricultural tools can be launched.Thirdly,we advocate the inheritance of traditional agricultural tools during their use,which can not only play the role of traditional agricultural tools but also ensure the inheritance of the main body of traditional agricultural tools.
