| Rewriting and new changes are the key words of Wang Meng’s novels,and he constantly carries out new practices in intertextual phenomena,image shaping,plot construction,narrative methods,etc.,and is not satisfied with the mechanical repetition of past experiences,but also breeds new changes in rewriting,leading the innovation of novels.This article consists of six parts.The introduction summarizes the reasons for selecting the topic,the research status,the research content and ideas.The first chapter explains the intertextual nature,focusing on the interaction between the subtext and the main text,the story structure in the story,and the folk elements,providing new ideas for taking care of the depth and breadth of the meaning of the novel.The second chapter discusses image characteristics,in the shaping of individual images,with the reappearance of "generation","white paper" characters,"old cadres",and independent women in different novels,Wang Meng gradually realized that there is more than one path in life;In the shaping of social image,China’s image and Xinjiang’s writing are new changes for Wang Meng in the new era.The third chapter examines the characteristics of the plot,and by sorting out the recurring plots in three types of novels: "the destruction of relatives with great righteousness",the decline of youth and people,and the collision of Chinese and Western cultures,we can find its transformation from the transmission of stories to the constructive nature of narrative,in which Wang Meng advocates youth,ideals,and passion,and the contradictions in the daily world and remains sober in the identification with the ordinary people.Chapter 4 focuses on narrative characteristics,with the "grouping" of the novel as the core,and we can see Wang Meng’s transformation from an experiment focused on assembling in content to a formal experiment of unreliable narration.The conclusion summarizes the four dimensions of the characteristics of Wang Meng’s novels,briefly sorts out the development history of Wang Meng’s re-enactment of contemporary novels with his individual literary practice,and points out the dislocation and avant-garde nature of Wang Meng’s novel narrative,as well as its contribution to the contemporary literary circle. |
