Taoist thought affected all aspects of the Tang society, how it specifically influenced calligraphy, and how Xuanzong,a lifelong believer in the Tang Dynasty, was influenced by Taoist writing fashion and aesthetic taste when he used Taoist thought and culture to change customs and customs, which still needs to be further explored. This paper starts from this, discusses the relationship between Daoism, which is dominated by Maoshan School, and "Ming Emperor’s New style",and then analyzes how Daoism influences "Ming Emperor’s New style".The Daomen, mainly Maoshan School, attach importance to characters and write scriptures in a rigorous and orderly way. They not only have their own retro style and writing fashion, but also have stable and continuous calligraphy inheritance. This paper analyzes the characteristics, commonness and differences of clerical works of Taoist priests and lay people in Tang Dynasty. It is pointed out that Taoist character law and secular character law are similar in principle, but different in form.By analyzing the "Ming Emperor’s New Style" and the relationship between Taoist fashion and "Ming Emperor’s New style",this paper introduces the background of the retro trend of the rise of Wu Zhou Dynasty, and points out that the official script style dominated by Sima Chengzhen in Wu Zhou Dynasty opened a new style for the birth of "Ming Emperor’s New style".The increase of official script works and the change of official script form in Wuzhou period were closely related to the emergence of Taoist retro fashion, which had an important influence on the formation of Tang Xuanzong, which had a deeper link with Maoshan School, and the "New style of Ming Emperor".It can be seen that Tang Xuanzong was deeply influenced by Taoism and mainly by Sima Chengzhen’s character method and aesthetic taste from the three aspects of the compatibility of official script tablet inscriptions of Tang Xuanzong and Sima Chengzhen, the way Xuanzong took Taoist classics and the communication between them. The late Tang Dynasty and later clerical script also inherited the "Ming Emperor’s new style" and Taoist fashion.
