A Study Of Thephonological System Of The Xiangcheng Dialect Of Henan

Xiangcheng is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhoukou City in Henan Province,located in the southeast of Henan Province.It is located in the border area of dialectal areas.This paper takes the phonological landscape of Xiangcheng dialect as the object of study,and adopts a combination of survey and research methods such as field survey method,descriptive method and ephemeral co-temporal comparison method to objectively summarize the sound,rhyme and tone system of Xiangcheng dialect.On this basis,a chronological comparison is made with the phonological system of Guang Yun,and a co-temporal comparison is made with the phonological systems of the surrounding dialects,in order to clarify their phonological development and evolution patterns,and at the same time to find a realistic basis for the attribution of the local dialects.The study of the border dialects in the eastern part of Henan has some significance and value for further understanding.This article is divided into five parts :The introduction part.It mainly introduces the general situation of Xiangcheng City and its dialect,research status,investigation process and research methods,research purpose and significance,and the situation of pronunciation partners.The first chapter is the phonetic system of Xiangcheng dialect.On the basis of field investigation,the initials,vowels and tone systems of Xiangcheng dialect are analyzed and summarized.Further sort out the relationship between the vowels and tones of Xiangcheng dialect,and sort out the homophone table of Xiangcheng dialect.The second chapter Xiangcheng dialect and ’ Guangyun ’ phonological comparison.From the three aspects of sound,rhyme and tone,this paper compares Xiangcheng dialect with ’ Guangyun ’ phonology,and sums up the phonetic evolution characteristics of Xiangcheng dialect.The third chapter is the comparison between Xiangcheng dialect and surrounding dialects.From the three aspects of sound,rhyme and tone,this paper compares Xiangcheng dialect with the surrounding five local dialects of Shangshui,Shangcai,Zhoukou,Shenqiu and Jieshou,summarizes and analyzes the similarities and differences of phonology,and clarifies the distance between Xiangcheng dialect and the surrounding five local dialects,which provides the basis for the attribution of Xiangcheng dialect.The fourth chapter is the attribution of Xiangcheng dialect.On the basis of previous studies,this paper analyzes and discusses the dialect zoning standards and the attribution of Xiangcheng dialect.The research shows that the place has the phonetic characteristics of Luoxiang and Shangfu,and is a transitional dialect.
