| Opera films are a unique category of Chinese films.As an indispensable art form to present and publicize opera art,it has made great contributions to the growth,development and dissemination of opera.Ding jun Mountain,the first film filmed in China in 1905,is also the first Chinese opera film,which presents opera art through film means,and is the earliest integration of film media and opera art.It can be said that Chinese films originated from opera films,which once became the guarantee of the box-office appeal of Chinese films at that time.Since its inception in 1981,the Golden Rooster Awards(held every other year since 2005)has set up the award for the Best opera films.Over the years,a large number of high-quality opera films have been selected,providing references for the development of the current opera films.However,with the spread of market economy and popular culture,opera was gradually marginalized,and the development of opera itself began to decline in the late 1980 s.This situation led to the decline of opera in both quantity and quality,and reached a low point in the 1990 s.The Golden Rooster Award for the best opera category has been vacant for many years.However,since the new century,with the strong support of the government and the diversification of the media,opera has gradually adapted to the market,and the opera has set off a new wave of creation.A number of high-quality operas have been spread overseas and gained a good reputation.This paper takes the finalists and winners of the Golden Rooster Award as the research object,explores the changes and rules of the creation of opera with the development of The Times,analyzes the reasons for the absence of awards and the limitations of the combination of opera and film,summarizes the experience and lessons and puts forward solutions,in order to better promote the development of opera art.Based on literature research and data statistics are used as the main research methods,through the analysis of all the award-winning and nominated operas of the27 th to 34 th Golden Rooster Awards for the best operas,to sort out their development context,genres and artistic expression,and then explore the future development road of operas.The main body of the article consists of four chapters:Chapter one,Golden Rooster Award and Overview of Traditional Chinese Opera.By tracing back to the historical origin of the Golden Rooster Award and opera films,this paper combs the development context of opera films and analyzes their tortuous development path.Chapter two,types and themes of Golden Rooster Award opera films.Through the comparative analysis of the types and themes of dramas,we can find the selection rules of the Golden Rooster Award for shortlisted opera films,including the innovation of genres and the characteristics of diversified themes,so as to provide comparison and reference for the creation and research of opera films.Chapter three,the art form of Golden Rooster Award opera films.On the one hand,it is systematically analyzed from the audition effect of opera films,mainly from the picture presentation and sound effects;On the other hand,from the perspective of aesthetic analysis,in-depth exploration of the combination of opera art and screen art of aesthetic presentation,such as opera formula aesthetic expression,the use of camera narrative.Chapter four,the Golden Rooster Award opera films existing problems and solutions.On the one hand,it explores the problems in the development of traditional Chinese opera films and discusses the reasons for the vacancy of awards,such as the shrinking living environment and the shrinking audience;On the other hand,it puts forward development suggestions from the aspects of drawing lessons from the after-sales model of award-winning opera films and developing the industrial chain,in order to provide theoretical reference for the creation of current opera films,and at the same time objectively promote the innovative development and diversified dissemination of Chinese opera art. |
