On Recreation Of Line Rhyhm In Dramatic Performance

The Broadway drama "Independence Day Judgment" is based on a real-life case,which depicts two teenage girls who seek independence but ultimately go astray,reflecting the importance of family education for a child’s growth and development.It also reflects the inadequate legal system in Chicago at that time,which led to the two children becoming victims of the law.The rhythm of the lines in this drama is a key point in the actor’s second creation process,and it is necessary to accurately grasp the rhythm of the lines to shape distinct character images and create better performance effects.This article is divided into three chapters.First,analyze the drama "Independence Day Judgment" from the perspective of creative motivation,story synopsis,main theme,characteristics,difficulties and innovation in the use of line rhythm;Second,combined with the definition and characteristics of line rhythm in drama,the three dimensions of character role,prescribed situation and emotional expression are analyzed,and the re-creation of line rhythm is expanded;Third,the role and practice of line rhythm recreation are explained.Based on the stage practice and experience of using the rhythm of the lines in the drama "The Judgment of Independence Day",this article reaches the final conclusion:recreating the rhythm of the lines in theatrical performances can better enable drama actors to accurately grasp the rhythm of the lines,making the stage performance more vivid and thought-provoking.
