| The idea of " rational supremacy " originated from the Enlightenment and the French Revolution has profoundly influenced a group of European composers.They are not satisfied with the bondage of the old composition rules,and according to their respective ’rational will ’,they have innovated the composition rules established since the Vienna School,and created more expressive works,thus setting off a wave of romantic music.Johannes Brahms(1833-1897),also a composer of the Romantic period,is one of the ’trendsetters ’.He advocated rational,rigorous and restrained classical music,and was also deeply influenced by the prevailing romantic music at that time.As one of Brahms ’s first batch of mature works and early masterpieces,’ Piano Sonata No.3 in F minor(Op.5)’clearly reflects Brahms ’ s creative style of ’ using classical old bottles and filling romantic new wine ’ in terms of genre selection,theme selection,theme development techniques,harmony techniques,etc.,so it has high artistic value and research value.First of all,this paper gives an overview of Brahms ’ life,as well as the creative background,musical structure,theme materials,and title connotation of the ’ Third Piano Sonata in F Minor(Op.5)’.Then it analyzes and studies Brahms ’ s application in the ’Third Piano Sonata in F Minor(Op.5)’ in terms of variable progression,linear progression,accidental progression of harmony,as well as the alternation of major and minor tones with the main tone,the alternation of special tones with the main tone,the alternation of natural and harmonic minor tones,as well as the music fragments of personalized harmony materials with variable chords,continuous sounds,passing and auxiliary deviation chords.This paper summarizes the characteristics and creative style of Brahms ’ application of harmony techniques in the third piano sonata in f minor(Op.5). |
