Mahabharata and Zuo Zhuan,as the representative works of the war narrative literature between China and India in the Axis era,are very similar in the war narrative strategy. This paper intends to take the war narrative strategy as the starting point to explore the differences and similarities between China and India in the war narrative strategy. This thesis is divided into three sections.First of all,it makes a specific analysis of the time background of Mahabharata and Zuo Zhuan,as well as the author and completion of the two works, and on this basis, examines the infiltration and interference of Dharma and "LI " culture at that time. The second chapter discusses the characteristics of the war narrative strategies of the two works by the method of contrastive argumentation.it includes the parallel "tree" narrative structure of linear narrative and story, the potential function of "the author’s voice" and the advance prediction of the outcome of the war under the influence of the Dharma and "LI",and in accordance with the narrative tendency of the theme of the Dharma and "LI".Contrary to the non-Dharma and non-"LI" parallel "dual" narrative plot movement. Finally,on the basis of the above, the paper deeply excavates the cultural implication behind the narrative strategies of Mahabharata and Zuo Zhuan. The paper holds that these two works are both created under the background of advocating force, and the narration of the war is not only influenced by the thought of Dharma and "LI" at that time, but also shows an anti-war attitude and concern for the people, and has its own speculation and breakthrough.Behind it is the narrative emotional tendency made by the author to break through the boundaries of the times and under the awakening of personal will and thought. The paper holds that there are similarities and differences in the war narrative strategies between the two works. At the same time, although the authors can not show the most authentic and direct attitude in the war narrative because of the limitations of politics and thought, they show the affirmation of their attitude in the way of side care.
