Arrangement And Study On Ye Yusen’s Collection Of Oracle Bones

Ye Yusen was an early collector of oracle bones,and his collection of oracle bones is of great academic value;after his oracle bones were dispersed,the scholarly community has been quite concerned about the movement of this collection.The oracle bones in Ye Yusen’s old collection are scattered and incomplete,and there are many cases of duplicate entries,so the scholarly community has not considered them as a whole for systematic organization and research.This paper selects the oracle bones in Ye Yusen’s old collection as the object of study,and examines the accounts of previous scholars on the excavation and collection of this batch of oracle bones based on the collection and arrangement of a specific batch of oracle bones,and discusses issues that are contradictory or relatively ambiguous in the history of oracle bones,such as the number of bones collected,the condition of the collection,and whether all the bones in Ye Yusen’s old collection were purchased from Liu E.This paper also examines whether the oracle bones are from one pit,and explains the acquisition of early oracle bones.This paper also takes this batch of oracle bones as the object of proofreading the previous interpretations,and tries to synthesize the latest results of academic interpretation,hoping to complement the work of proofreading the oracle bone interpretations.This paper focuses on the following aspects of this collection of materials:1.To systematically inventory the oracle bones in Ye Yusen’s collection and to determine the current number of Ye Yusen’s oracle bones.Based on the transfer information and the current status of the collection as recorded in the history of oracle bone studies,we conducted a targeted search for Ye Yusen’s old collection of oracle bones,and further analyzed and organized them by sorting out inconsistencies in the catalogues,thus determining the actual number of Ye Yusen’s oracle bones in the collection to be 1,618,and making a cataloguing search table.2.Research on specific issues.Dong Zuobin,in his "Example of the study of oracle bone assay",combined with the age of the oracle bones excavated from the scientific excavations in the second district,judged that the group of oracle bones of Liu E’s "Tie Yun Cang Gui" should be mainly excavated in the second district.In the chronology of oracle bones and other works,Dong Zuobin also reiterated this judgment,believing that Liu E’s old oracle bones were unearthed in the 20 mu of Liu’s family name in the north of the village.We selected the topic of "whether the oracle bones in Ye Yusen’s old collection came from the same pit",summarized the latest results of the oracle bones in Ye Yusen’s collection,analyzed the grouping situation,and linked the flow,source,and excavation of the oracle bones that could be matched with it.The oracle bone from a pit or a district judgment to be explored,and based on the results of the analysis,put forward their own views.3.Integrating the latest results of academic interpretation,this batch of recorded oracle bone interpretation is revised,correcting the lack of interpretation,misinterpretation,mixed errors in glyphs,etc.,and some of the divination words are supplemented with relevant explanations and topographical plates for comparison.
