Regional Characteristics And Singing Design Of Folk Songs In Different Regions

The purpose of this article is to explore the regional characteristics of folk song in different areas.The article mainly elaborates on the regional characteristics of language and music.Two works,"Hong Wawa" from Henan folk song and "Xicai Xin" from Hunan folk song,will be selected for specific analysis from a personal music concert.The analysis results will be applied to singing practices and suggestions will be proposed for grasping the singing styles of different regional folk songs.This paper consists of three parts.Part One,"Regional Linguistic Characteristics of Folk Song in Different Areas," provides an overview of dialects,regional dialect divisions,and the linguistic characteristics of dialects in Henan and Hunan.Two works from a personal music concert in these regions will be specifically analyzed for their language features.Part Two,"Regional Musical Characteristics of Folk Song in Different Areas," includes an analysis of the musical styles of two works: "Hong Wawa" from Henan folk song and "Xicai Xin" from Hunan folk song.The theoretical analysis will be applied to singing practices and suggestions will be proposed for grasping the singing styles of different regional folk songs.Part Three,"Reflections on Singing Experiences," summarizes the results of the previous two parts and singing practices,as well as some singing techniques that have been explored to discover different styles and methods for singing folk songs in different regions.
