On The Music Style And Singing Skills Of Zuo Quan’s Folk Song "Qin Ge Dan Wash Clothes In The River"

The song “Qingedan washes clothes in the river” is one of the representative works of Shanxi folk songs,and it is the embodiment of Shanxi excellent folk culture.The labor scenes depicted in the songs are a true portrayal of Shanxi people’s life.In order to better inherit and protect this folk song,it has been listed in the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006,which shows that this work plays an important role in traditional Chinese culture.Through the interpretation of this classic Shanxi folk song by older artists Shi Zhanming and Liu Gaiyu,as well as singers of the new generation such as Yan Weiwen and Dong Hua,more and more people get to understand and love this song.This paper analyzes the work "Qingedan washes clothes inthe river" through the following parts: the exordium part expounds the research purpose and significance of this topic,summarizes the research methods and ideas,and makes a brief summary for the research;The introduction part introduces the creative background of Zuoquan folk songs,traces the historical origins from Zuoquan’s geographical environment,human history and other aspects;The first chapter analyzes the musical characteristics of the work.The author starts with the integration of traditional music,through the exploration of the music melody and musical structure to understand and feel the distinctive style and characteristics expressed in the work,which combines theory and practice;the second chapter analyzes the literal characteristics of the work.Taking Zuoquan’s dialect as the starting point,it explores the dialects and repetitions used in the work,grasps the creative characteristics of the work,and lays stress on the singer’s emphasis on language when singing;the third chapter analyzes the singing processing of the work,by combining the singing theory with the author’s actual singing,it explores how to grasp the style of the work and the processing of sound skills when singing this song in practice.Starting from the locality of the work,this article focuses on the analysis of the musical form and aesthetic of the work,hoping to provide reference experience for the exploration of Zuoquan folk songs,and promote the inheritance and development of Shanxi folk songs.
