| Twelve volumes of "Elegant works of Tang Dynasty in Southern Fujian",compiled by Ming Xu Bo,Fei Daoyong and Yang Dezhou,are specially selected anthologies of Fujian poetry in the Tang Dynasty.The anthology contains a total of 37 poets and 1,170 poems by Fujian in the Tang Dynasty,and biographies are established for selected people.This paper takes Xu Bo’s anthology as the research object,starts from Xu’s life and writings,and focuses on analyzing the compilation basis,writing process,compilation characteristics,documentary value,and influence significance of the anthology,explores the poetic ideas embodied in the compilation of Xu Bo in the compilation of anthologies,and reveals the role played by the anthology in reviving the elegance of Fujian.The introduction is divided into three parts.First,it discusses the research significance of the anthology from four aspects: Fujian local literature collation,the value of the anthology,the retro atmosphere of the Ming Dynasty and Tang dynasty,and Xu Bo’s poetic view.Second,the research results of Xu Bo and the anthology will be sorted out,and the shortcomings of the current academic community in this regard will be summarized.Third,it shows the innovation of the article in terms of Xu Bo’s travels,poetry selection tendencies,and Tang poetry views.The first chapter examines the life of Xu Bo and the meaning of the title of the anthology.Xu Bo traveled extensively,among which his contacts with Fei Daoyong and Yang Dezhou directly contributed to the completion and publication of the anthology.In addition,he collected a large number of anthologies of Tang Dynasty poetry,coupled with his personal writings on Fujian documents,especially his participation in the revision of the Ming Dynasty Fujian Prefecture Chronicles,which made sufficient preparations for the compilation of the anthology.The anthology is dedicated to the poetry of the Tang Dynasty and Fujian Dynasty,and although it is named after the word "Southern Fujian",the poets actually selected cover the whole of Fujian.With the intention of bringing together elegant works,the poems included in this book can achieve harmonious rhythm and elegant style,and play an important role in reviving Fujian elegance.The second chapter combs through the process of writing the anthology.The emergence of tang ethos,literati association and selected anthology of Tang poetry in Ming Dynasty jointly promoted the birth of the anthology.It has always been with the purpose of preserving the works of the sages and revitalizing the elegance of Fujian.First,Xu Bo selected the original,then supplemented the funds and Yang Dezhou,and finally published.Due to the Tang dynasty Fujian poetry lost serious,this anthology extensively searched for the compilation and collected the works of Tang Dynasty Fujian as much as possible from the historical department,collection of documents and the Buddhist literature,etc.,and at the same time examined the life and deeds of the poet to enrich the content of the anthology.The third chapter expounds the compilation characteristics of this anthology.In terms of style,the anthology follows the principle of "poetry with people,preservation of people with poetry" and the ancient body before the near body;In terms of content,the selection intends to be staged,focusing on the middle and late stages,and at the same time covering monks,palace concubines and wandering sages;In terms of poetry selection,the anthology attaches importance to the elegant spirit and emotional expression of poetry,and hopes to establish a model of poetry creation by selecting Tang poems from Fujian Dynasty,and adhere to the poetic tradition of Fujian in the process of learning Tang and similar Tang dynasties.The fourth chapter summarizes the value and influence of the anthology.The documentary value of the anthology is concentrated in the preservation of Tang Dynasty Fujian poetry and supplementary poetic biographical historical materials.At the same time,the literati Hu Zhenheng’s anthology can be seen in the use of it to correct and make up for the gaps,and the Qing Dynasty Zheng Jie’s anthology is modeled after it to add a short biography of the poet,and a large number of quotations from "Elegant works of Tang Dynasty in Southern Fujian" about poets and poetic works.It can be seen that the anthology had a profound reference on the writings of contemporary people and later anthologies.The concluding part summarizes the favorable conditions for the completion of "Elegant works of Tang Dynasty in Southern Fujian",clarifies the work undertaken by Xu,Fei and Yang in the process of compiling the selected works,lists the compilation characteristics of "Elegant works of Tang Dynasty in Southern Fujian",and affirms the importance and influence of the anthology in the compilation of literature. |
