As a result of the epidemic,Chinese language teaching has been affected to different degrees,and offline Chinese teaching has been switched to online.Classroom teaching is the central part of teaching activities,and "teaching" and "learning" are mainly accomplished through teacher-student interaction in the classroom,which plays an extremely important role in teaching quality.Therefore,the issue of teacher-student interaction in online Chinese teaching has gradually become a hot topic of discussion.In this paper,I intend to transcribe the classroom videos collected by the author during her internship in a Chinese online education platform into a real corpus,and adapt the classroom observation scale and other quantitative tools to the characteristics of overseas online one-to-one teaching,so as to develop a classroom observation scale suitable for online one-to-one Chinese teaching.Finally,the scale was used to analyze and count the teacher-student verbal interactions in the actual classroom,and to summarize and give relevant teaching suggestions at the end.The teacher-student classroom activity observation scale mainly includes teaching sessions,discourse content,discourse control,students’ status and teaching materials,while the teacher-student speech interaction observation scale records the specific situation of classroom teacher-student speech interaction,including the choice of target language,teacher’s language difficulty,teacher’s feedback and other observations.This dissertation will be divided into four chapters for discussion.Through the analysis,the author found that teachers can hardly avoid using a lot of non-Chinese language in teaching Chinese to overseas children,the teachers’ feedback is mainly praise,and the students’ trigger words are less and mostly non-Chinese.At the end of the article,the author gives teaching suggestions mainly from promoting teacher-student interaction and teachers should establish individual differentiated teaching mechanisms,hoping to provide reference for teachers engaged in online one-to-one Chinese teaching for overseas children,and also to broaden the ideas of subsequent research. |
