Research On The Site-specific In Light Painting Art

The art works formed by recording the moving track of light with the delayed exposure photography technology are called "Light painting".In its early stage,it was developed from research scientific experiments.Later,through the creation and use of artists,it presented a photographic art form of modeling expression formed by recording the movement track of light.At present,"light painting" is intervened in the social scene,and with its unique "action" in a site-specific,it has become an art behavior different from the traditional static "light painting",extending from the expression in the physical site to the flow of discourse site based on the relationship site.Based on the logic of linear development,this paper first combs the development process of "light painting" art,analyzes how it entered the art field from the technical category dominated by practicality,and becomes a language of artistic exploration,and then discusses the creative method of "light painting" from the perspective of practice and analyzes its artistic characteristics.In the development of "light painting" art,it gradually shows the close relationship between it and the site,and with the expansion of the site-specific,it takes a social turn,its practical form changes from individual behavior performance to the artistic action of "temporary theater" to call for community participation in the social scene.Finally,the action strategy and value role of "light painting" art practice with site specificity are studied with specific practice cases.
