| "New sensibility" theory is a social criticism and aesthetic theory proposed by Marcuse,a representative figure of Frankfurt School in the 1960 s.It aims to expose the unreasonable and oppressive status quo in the developed industrial society.It aims to release people’s sensibility,reverse labor and the return of aesthetic power with love,so as to replace revolution to realize the liberation of nature and the reconstruction of reality.To achieve the ideal "aesthetic utopia" construction;In the late 1970 s,the trend of personality liberation pushed Chinese scholar Li Zehou to adjust practical aesthetics,introduce individual perspective on the basis of the original framework,and gradually put forward "new sensibility" and "emotional ontology" to fill in the content.Through the accumulation of sensibility to reason,people can achieve the aesthetic realm of pleasing to the eye,pleasing to the heart and pleasing to the mind,pleasing to the mind and pleasing to the spirit.To realize the transformation from "practical utopia" to "emotional utopia" contains the Chinese wisdom of Confucian "unity of nature and man".As aesthetes with humanitarian spirit in China and the West,Marcuse and Li Zehou put forward the thought of "new sensibility" in the later academic period,aiming at human purpose and emphasizing the liberating function of art and aesthetics,so as to construct their ideal western free society and the new field of Chinese philosophy and aesthetics.This thesis intends to compare the thought of "new sensibility" of Marcuse and Li Zehou from three perspectives.Firstly,in terms of the construction background,it starts from the social environment and academic foundation to analyze the problems existing in the developed industrial society and the tendency revealed in the society with the surging trend of personality thoughts.Driven by the reality,Marcuse and Li Zehou respectively absorb the theoretical concepts related to people,so the theory of "new sensibility" starts from criticism.Secondly,in terms of theoretical connotation,Marcuse’s theory of "new sensibility" can be attributed to the analysis of human alienation and the criticism of technical rationality,and the liberation of nature can be achieved through "real art" and imagination.Li Zehou,on the other hand,uses "new sensibility" to carry on "aesthetic feeling" and "psychological noumenon",and opens up a new place of Chinese aesthetics in the direction of image thinking.The "new sensibility" of the two is new in history;Later,in terms of the construction approach,Marcuse pointed out that the great cultural rejection can restore the basis of criticism and transcendence,and then create new languages,new technologies,new people and new society."New sensibility" has been criticized and established.Li Zehou used "accumulation" to construct personal aesthetic psychological emotions and realized the return of humanity through "humanization of senses" and "humanization of desires"."New sensibility" has adjustment direction and emphasis;Finally,on the basis of the above comparative analysis,the author discusses the different characteristics of the "new sensibility" thought of the two,explores the theoretical perspective provided by Marcuse and Li Zehou’s thought construction for the development of Chinese aesthetics in the modern context,and makes an objective evaluation of the utopian characteristics embodied by the "new sensibility" theory in combination with Chinese literary and artistic practice. |
