As an excellent traditional Chinese culture, opera is the root and soul of the nation; As a unique art form,it has been influenced by Confucianism, religion, folk customs, and other cultures during its development. Therefore,it not only reflects traditional Chinese artistic concepts and aesthetic concepts, but also reflects people’s thinking and behavior.Nowadays,at the call of the state, scholars are also striving to protect the traditional Chinese opera culture, with the publication of a large number of integrated traditional Chinese opera literature as the best proof. This article synthesizes the interdisciplinary characteristics of music literature, history, and aesthetics, and aims to provide a relatively comprehensive exploration and analysis of the externalization of ancient Chinese music appreciation and cognition from a broader disciplinary perspective and deeper research perspective. For example,it attempts to establish a cultural and comparative concept of music history, and attempts to analyze the description of "sound" in the "Compilation of Traditional Chinese Opera Discourses of Past Dynasties" and "Integration of Modern Lost Traditional Chinese Opera Documents" through statistics,Classify them by level, take the disciplinary system of music history as a theoretical benchmark, and follow the aesthetic principles of ancient Chinese music to conduct an overall sorting, induction, and summary. This article is divided into three parts: introduction, main body, and conclusion. The introduction mainly includes the origin of this study, related research reviews, research methods, and interpretation of important concepts. The main content consists of four chapters. The first chapter aims to clarify the overview of the collation of traditional Chinese opera literature, and define and divide the concept of "sound" in traditional Chinese opera, aiming to comb people’s understanding of the sound of traditional Chinese opera in a critical way.The second, third, and fourth chapters systematically comb and summarize the concept of "sound" at different levels based on the literature collected; After elaborating on its application context and expression content,it is concluded that the concept of "sound" in opera exists not only in the surface cognition, but also in the deep structure of the spiritual senses; Finally,a comparative summary reveals that the concept of "sound" has three aesthetic characteristics: one is divided into surface, middle, and deep structures at the aesthetic level;the other is to perceive the aesthetic emotions of music, connecting the psychological activities of the performer, creator, and admirer together;the third is the connection between different psychological movements of aesthetic psychological activities and sound, and the resonance between the performer and the admirer at the same frequency,Although music is originally a temporal art,it also acquires spatial abstraction, forming a flowing, resonant space that sometimes possesses and forgets itself outside of hearing, between being touched and being touched. This study found that in the long-term practice and application summary of the sages, there is an extremely rich historical material of music, namely "written records of musical sounds",which delineates the aesthetic function of music to shape people’s psychological state and promote the cultivation of talented people. It also discovers that music has a subtle impact on people’s physical and mental functions, which has a certain degree of cross era resonance for today’s people. It enables different actors and audiences to continue the mission of sound in every non reproducible listening and every non pasting interpretation. Therefore, contemporary music researchers should recognize the research value of music sub disciplines in order to promote the all-round development and improvement of the discipline. The excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation urgently requires generations of young people to learn and inherit it,making a contribution to the cultural revival of the nation.
