During the Republican period,social education concurrently established by schools was an important part of social education practice,and theoretical study on social education concurrently established by schools has been developed to a certain extent,which has important implications for current study on social education concurrently established by schools.However,the research results on social education concurrently established by schools are still relatively scarce,especially when it comes to the review and analysis of the theoretical studies of the period,and the only studies that have been conducted are often superficial.In view of this,based on the relevant works and theses during the Republican period,this study makes an in-depth investigation of the theoretical achievements of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period,with a view to providing solid historical and theoretical support for the implementation of social education concurrently established by schools at all levels and for the implementation of social education today.In general,this study covers the following four aspects:First,the development on the study of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period.The development history of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period went through three stages: the emergence stage(1912-1932),the comprehensive development stage(1933-1941),and the slow development stage(1942-1949),each of which presented different characteristics.Secondly,the group analysis on the study of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period.This chapter analyzes the composition,geographical distribution,higher education experience,age,gender and work experience of the group,and explores the structural composition and characteristics of the the group of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period.Third,the basic components on the study of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period.This chapter analyses the basic components of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period and divides them into three areas: the basic theoretical research,the concrete implementation research and the historical research.Fourthly,the reflections and insights on the study of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period.This chapter summarises the characteristics,achievements and limitations on the study of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period.The main revelations on the study of social education concurrently established by schools during the Republican period to the current study on social education concurrently established by schools in China include: Research on social education concurrently established by schools should be in line with social development and focus on the needs of the people;should build research groups and promote diversified development;should improve research methods and reshape values;should focus on linking practice and promoting cross-fertilisation;should have an international perspective and highlight Chinese characteristics.
