| In recent years,artistic creation and exhibitions with the theme of paper materials have become increasingly active at home and abroad,and there is a trend of gradually developing into a special field of artistic creation.As a worldwide cultural symbol,’paper ’ is an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture.From daily writing paper to folk traditional paper-cut,and then to modern art works with paper as the medium,paper brings us different visual feelings and spiritual experiences.The application of paper in art works not only embodies the creator ’s thought and aesthetics,but also reflects the cultural spirit of the times.Based on the diversity of paper materials,artists explore the expression forms of paper-based art works,and create a large number of excellent works with vivid graphics,changeable colors,interesting themes and rich formal languages.This paper will focus on paper materials and explore how to use various forms of paper materials to present in fiber art works.By reading relevant literature and appreciating paper art works at home and abroad,we have a further understanding of the types,production processes and techniques of paper materials in fiber art works.In his graduation works,he has always been exploring the paper materials,which has been confirmed in practice.From the initial practice of the series of figurative animal facial pattern plane derivative paper works,to the exploration of the abstract graphic expression form from the plane to the three-dimensional transformation,and finally,the completion of the work has realized the practice and exploration of various forms of paper materials under different techniques.Through folding and rotating,rolling and protruding,twisting and stretching,repeated pasting and other production processes,the paper art works are formed.The whole is full of rhythm and rhythm beauty,but also brings the viewer a good feeling of vision and touch,thus enriching the various forms of paper materials in fiber art.While improving the innovation of paper materials,it has opened up a lot of space for future artistic creation. |
