In the long history of the Chinese nation,the Pingcheng period of the Northern Wei Dynasty is known as the rare period of ethnic integration.As one of the three largest grottoes in China,Yungang Grottoes is an art treasure left to future generations during the Northern Wei Dynasty.It is a "treasure house of world art" and listed in the The World Heritage List by UNESCO.It has witnessed the brilliant artistic charm and cultural charm of the Northern Wei Dynasty for modern people.Among them,the statues in the caves are not only amazing,but also of great value to the development of dance.As a native of Shanxi Province and a researcher in dance education,the author developed the "thin waist drum" of Yungang music and dance series by collecting wind and data,and thus created a training combination suitable for students in comprehensive colleges.This article mainly discusses the development and analysis of the movement of "thin waist drum" in Yungang music and dance and its future development.The first part is a brief discussion of Yungang music and dance and "thin waist drum".The second part is about the development and analysis of the movement of "thin waist drum" in Yungang music and dance,mainly by imitating the form of static statues in the caves,thus transforming into dynamic dance movements,and creating training combinations such as arms,feet,dancing posture and steps.The third part mainly expounds the development value of "thin waist drum" in Yungang music and dance to traditional Chinese culture,tourism in Shanxi scenic spots and dance field.
