| During the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, the Sanjin region created a unique culture because of its special geographical environment and strong political and military forces. At that time, under the background that the vassal states were standing side by side and the war of annexation continued, the Jin State and the following three countries,Han,Zhao and Wei,were also fighting with other vassal states. But in addition to the war, there were also political, economic and cultural exchanges between each other, which to a certain extent promoted the cultural exchange and dissemination between each other, and further developed the cultural connotation of the Sanjin region.Developed spiritual culture often needs the help of material carriers to be embodied. With the continuous discovery of Eastern Zhou tombs in the Sanjin region,a large number of bronzes appeared in people’s vision. Many scholars began to take these bronzes as research objects, distinguish the types of artifacts, explore their chronological sequence, and on this basis, study the evolution sequence and combination changes of artifacts,This kind of bronzes with common characteristics are called bronze ware of Jin Dynasty. After understanding the development of Jin bronze ware, scholars began to carry out special research on inscriptions and emblazonries. On the basis of these studies, according to the characteristics of jin bronzes,we found that among the bronzes unearthed,in addition to the bronzes of the Jin family, there are some bronzes that do not belong to the Jin culture, which are foreign cultural factors. In this paper, the bronzes unearthed in the Eastern Zhou tombs in the Sanjin region are combed, uses the method of cultural factor analysis to find out other cultural factors in the tombs except for the Jin bronzes, and compares them with the artifacts in the Sanjin region of the same period,to understand the differences of the bronzes from both sides in terms of the shape, decoration, and decorative techniques, and to analyze the reasons why these bronzes appear in the Sanjin region in combination with the handed down documents.By analyzing the cultural factors of the bronze artifacts unearthed from Eastern Zhou tombs in the San Jin region,it is confirmed that in addition to the Jin dynasty bronze artifacts, there are also cultural factors such as the Wu state,Xu state,Chu state,Haidai region in the east,Yan dynasty region, and Rongdi tribe in the north, which are concentrated in the late Spring and Autumn period to the early Warring States period. The discovered artifacts are classified by region, including the copper Jian, copper dagger-axes,copper sword, and copper covered tripods of the State of Wu;The Geng Er tripods of Xu State;Copper funnels, copper tripods, copper plates, copper dagger-axes,and lock shaped vessels of the Chu state;Copper pots, copper plates, copper dagger-axes,copper covered tripods, and copper vessels in the Haidai region;Copper covered tripods, copper Gui,copper plate, copper pots etc in the Yan Dynasty region; The bronze spears, hooks, buckles, pierced weapons, straight blade dagger style short swords, copper pots, tripod weapons, and elliptical mouthpiece Gui of the Northern Rongdi tribe. On this basis, combined with literature,it was found that there are several reasons for the existence of foreign bronze ware in the Sanjin region: firstly, war. This is the most common and important factor.Secondly, relation by marriage.During the process of employment and marriage, bronze vessels appeared in the procession as ceremonial or practical tools, accompanying the end of the marriage and moving from one country to another.Thirdly, the alliance. The alliance was a common means for the feudal states to seek alliances at that time.During the alliance process, major powers would give each other bronze ware as a gesture of friendship, while small countries would hand over the bronze ware as a bribe to the major powers to seek refuge.Fourthly, exchange envoys. When the relationship between the two parties is in a relatively stable state, the monarch will send envoys to visit other countries to strengthen ties.During this process, bronze vessels will serve as witnesses of exchanges. In addition to the common reasons mentioned above, there are also some special factors, such as trade factors, indirect factors, and the Chu people used Jin. |
