| In the history of Chinese films,there have been many representative sports films with female athletes as the main characters,such as Women’s Football Team 9,Sand Ou,Champion and so on.These films about female athletes not only vividly present the real situation of female athletes’ training,competition and life,but also arouse deep emotions about their portrayal.This paper first lists and screens Chinese sports films,selects representative sports films that meet the research objects of this paper in each period according to the development history of sports films,uses image analysis method and text analysis method to analyze the characters,plots and scenes in the selected sports movies,sorts out the shots and lines,analyzes the image characteristics of female athletes in sports films under different era backgrounds,clarifies their transmutation trajectories,and puts forward shaping strategies.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The image of female athletes in sports movies in the context of the times can be summarized as the image of "defeminization" in the early years of the founding of the People’s Republic of China(1949-1966),the image of "initially awakened women" under the reform and opening up(1978-1990),the image of "independent and self-reliant women" formed under market transformation(1991-2000),and the image of "comprehensive and diverse women" in the new century(2001-so far).(2)According to the characteristics of image shaping,the transmutation trajectory of the image of female athletes in sports movies is studied: personality traits from depersonalization to independent self,gender consciousness from blurred to prominent,sports values from winning glory for the country to striving for personal ideals.(3)The shaping strategies for shaping the new image of female athletes in sports films are: diversified film themes and narrative structures;three-dimensional characterization;Promote the spirit of sports and inherit sports culture. |
