In February 1951,Jiao Juyin boldly pioneered and practiced the "Mental Image Theory" performance creation method of "Mental Image Theory" in the drama "Longxugou" staged at the Beijing People’s Art Theater,and the "Mental Image Theory" created by him is now recognized by the domestic drama industry as a relatively scientific and reasonable creative method that conforms to the current domestic drama art environment.The specific process of "mental imagery" is "let the character live with you first,and then you can live in the character".Mr.Jiao Juyin creatively continued the Danchenko and Stanislavsky performance system in the development of Chinese drama,corrected the erroneous tendency of early actors to one-sidedly understand the experiential performance method,avoided the "self-touching" of actors blindly experiencing without talking about creation and the formalism of only talking about skills without talking about experience,thus providing effective and practical creative methods for the majority of directors and actors engaged in performing arts,and it can be said that the "mental image theory" proposed by Jiao Juyin has made indelible contributions to Chinese drama performance.It has been 71 years since the development of "mental image theory",and due to the continuous revision and improvement of the "mental image theory" theory by a series of famous actors such as Su Zhi,Lin Liankun,Zheng Rong,Lan Tianye,Ying Ruocheng and so on,the "mental image theory" has changed from the early days to now,and a relatively complete theory has been formed.This article will take the original drama "Red Flame" as a case,start from the epistemological and methodological aspects of the "mental image theory" performance creation method,learn to grasp the feasibility of applying the theory,and explore the specific problems existing in the actual operation,which are the focus of this article. |
