Gabriel Urban Faure(May 12,1845-November 4,1924)is a French composer,pipe organ player,pianist,and one of the most important French composers of his time.His music style has influenced many composers of the 20 th century.His most famous works include Peacock Dance,Requiem,Sicilian Music,Piano Nocturne and songs "Apr è s unreve" and "Clair de lune".He is considered to be one of the masters of French art songs,and the most representative work is the vocal divertimento La bonne chanson Op.61.This divertimento consists of nine songs,which were created between 1892 and 1894.The lyrics are selected from nine poems of the poet Paul Verlaine in the poetry collection of the same name.The research and exploration of the creative background,style characteristics,and analysis of the key and difficult points in singing of this suite are of great significance for the singer to perform and interpret the suite.This paper mainly studies and discusses the vocal suite "Jia Ge Ji" from two aspects: creative background and performance interpretation.The full text consists of three chapters: Chapter 1 is an overview of the creative background of the vocal suite "Jia Ge Ji",which briefly describes the life of composer Frye,the creative characteristics of his music works,and the creative characteristics of Frye’s artistic songs in three stages;Chapter 2 explores and studies the musical style characteristics of the nine songs in the vocal suite "Jia Ge Ji" by analyzing their musical ontology;The third chapter is the key part of this paper.Based on the research in the first two chapters and combined with my own singing practice experience,I elaborate on the stage music expression and singing interpretation of the vocal suite "Jia Ge Ji",striving to elevate the stage performance of this vocal suite to a higher artistic realm.
