Music Analysis And Singing Exploration Of Impressionist Style Art Songs ——Taking Fauré’s Three Works As Examples

Impressionism was a painting school that ascended the French painting world with a strong attitude in the second half of the 19 th century.At that time,many French scholars were dissatisfied with the academic classical painting style and asked for Painting Schema innovation.Therefore,these impressionist painters with ahead of the times consciousness and unique self life feelings began to build a new painting schema structure.Impressionism,a new style of French music and painting,emerged in the late 19 th century.Impressionist music is a completely abstract and surreal color.It is the beginning of music entering modernism.Especially in art songs,the French people integrate the idea of freedom and equality into the field of music creation,which reflects the feelings of the French bourgeoisie,and makes the art songs with impressionist style develop unprecedentedly.During this period,many outstanding composers worked hard and left many very classic works for future generations.However,among these outstanding composers,the art songs created by Fauré play an extremely important role in the French music industry.He is known as "Schumann of France" by later generations.From the perspective of impressionist style art songs,this paper gathers my master’s research direction,vocal music singing and teaching,music theory learning and vocal music singing practice,and discusses the music text analysis and practice orientation of impressionist style art songs.This paper mainly studies and discusses through four parts.In the first part,the author first analyzes the overall background of the impressionist art style produced in the impressionist period,leads to the embodiment of the impressionist style in the field of art and music,and expounds their development process,style characteristics and artistic achievements.Then it explains that the most outstanding achievements of impressionist style in the field of music are reflected in its art songs.It lists Debussy,the composer who pushed French art songs to the peak,Ravel,one of the most outstanding representatives of impressionist composers,and Fauré,the bridge figure of French impressionist style art songs,the joint efforts of these composers have created a glorious history of French impressionist style art songs.As one of the most important composers of impressionist style art songs,Faurécreated nearly 100 art songs in his life.His works can be divided into three periods: simple and simple in the early stage,gorgeous and rich in the middle stage and true in the late stage.In the second part,the author first discusses the artistic style characteristics of the works created by composer Fauré,including: first,realize the importance of the combination of poetry and music;Second,he is good at using the alternation of triplets and sixteenth notes in his works;Third,pay great attention to the combination of piano accompaniment and human voice;Fourth,pay attention to the unity of vocal suite.Then the author makes a detailed music analysis by using the examples of three works "Moonlight","Lydia" and "song of love".The third part,firstly,the author selects different singers to appreciate the singing versions of the three songs after the text analysis of the previous three songs;Secondly,according to the reference and self experience in singing practice,the author believes that if you want to perform these songs properly,you need to further study from the aspects of establishing a rich sense of picture,strictly following the expression terms on the original score,strictly designing the sound,reasonably using the skills,and paying attention to mastering the pronunciation of French.Finally,through my own experience of singing art songs,I think about the requirements of technical support and comprehensive ability of artistic expression in the performance of impressionist style art songs.After discussing from the perspective of works and performers,the fourth part expounds the academic value and application value of contemporary aesthetics of impressionist style art songs.Through the research and study of impressionist style art songs,the author realizes that although it is not as popular or even more vague as German and Austrian art songs in college vocal music learning,its artistic value can not be replaced by any other art songs.At the same time,it is hoped that this three representative works of Impressionism can provide more direct interpretation of the style of Impressionism and Practice for the colleagues in the future.
