| Grassland is a major geological feature of Inner Mongolia,and the nomadic people living on the grassland are also a great cultural landscape of Chinese ethnic culture.Regional characteristics,as a combination of geology and humanity,have become an eternal theme in the works of painters since oil painting grew up in Inner Mongolia.This study is based on the regional characteristics of the northern steppe and finally back to the author’s creative practice.Firstly,the regional characteristics of the grassland are listed from the unique regional environment,and then the production mode of the indigenous people in this regional environment is clarified.On this premise,the regional humanistic characteristics of the grassland ethnic group are analyzed,and the values and psychological characteristics of the grassland ethnic group are summarized.After that,through the analysis of the works of Tuo Musi,Chaoge and Long Liyou,the famous oil painters on the grassland,from three aspects of content,color and form,it is concluded that the works of the three teachers are personalized reflection of the regional characteristics of the grassland,and from which the author can obtain useful conclusions and creative methods.Finally,the conclusions and methods obtained are applied to the author’s Pastoral series of works.In this series of works,the important influence of regional characteristics of the grassland on the author’s creative behavior is explained through content,color and form,and finally,the experience is summed up and the oil painting on the grassland is held with higher hopes. |
