Research On The Application Of Directors To Non-professional Actors

In the first twenty or thirty years of the invention of film,film completed the magnificent turn of the seventh art,and film performance really began to become an art,and thus emerged the first group of professional actors specializing in film performance.The development of non-professional actors is also accompanied by many important artistic innovation movements,film directors and film works.In order to improve the expressiveness of film art,while some directors are trying their best to tap the potential of professional actors,others are also trying their best to tap the acting qualities of non-professional actors.Therefore,taking non-professional actors as the focus of research is of great significance to the enrichment and perfection of film and film performing arts.Non-professional actors also have a remarkable presence in Oriental films.The unique personal feelings and local complex in the Oriental national culture,and non-professional actors in this kind of film style complement each other.Starting from the performance of non-professional actors from the director’s perspective,this paper draws conclusions from the creative practice of my graduation short film "My Youth" in the whole process of script conception,role assumption,theme,scene survey,casting,on-site shooting,post-editing and other aspects,and combines the practical harvest of the whole creative process with the relevant film performance theory.This paper analyzes the artistic characteristics,natural performance,character creation and role shaping of non-professional actors,and studies the use of non-professional actors by directors in film creation,trying to focus on the natural performance and character creation of non-professional actors,as well as the use of non-professional actors by directors.This paper attempts to explore how directors melt the performance styles of non-professional actors into their own works in film creation,and then summarizes the thoughts and rules of directors guiding non-professional actors in performance creation,in order to provide necessary reference value for film workers in practice.
