Applied Research On The Symbiotic Relationship Between Actor Personality And Character Personality

An actor/actress is the creator in performing arts,whose personality both links much to but is different obviously from the character of a role.Aspects of an actor/actress’ personality may appear in performing and impact the character of the role inevitably,that’s why different performing may shape varying characters of the same role for audiences to feel.In order for a more clear demonstration of such a symbiotic relationship above,expound in the paper will be open from the 3 stages of the actor/actress training respectively: stages of potential actor/actress selection,actor/actress professional training and his/her career performing.Combining with related theories of psychology,performing science and sociology,the symbiotic relationship between the actor/actress personality and role’s character was analyzed in the paper,through relations between the role’s characters and individual tendencies of the actor/actress such as the ability of need,motivation,interesting,ideals,beliefs and value points,characteristics of mentality,temperament and character,and with our school’s situations of current art and performing enrollment and actor/actress’ selection as well as his/her career stage,problems existing in stages above were definite and deeply discussed and solution for which was proposed.
