| Executive function,a flexible,higher-level cognitive process that supports goal-orientation and adaptive responses to new or complex situations,is one of the core mental abilities of humans.Studies have confirmed that executive function is intergenerational transmission, but the mechanism by which parenting affects the intergenerational transmission of executive function is not clear.Parents support is an important dimension of positive parenting, independently of all the positive parenting had the greatest influence on the development of children’s executive function,it refers to the parents understand the ability and level of development of children, and provide guidance in time, help to build successful experience and give in raising children respect, understanding, encourage and warm, allow children published his views.Autonomous support parents influence children’s executive function development,a large number of studies have shown that a high level of autonomy support parents can promote the development of children’s executive function, but there’s almost no research reveals how executive function of intergenerational transfer will be influenced by independent parents support, therefore,to explore the role of parents autonomy support in intergenerational transmission mechanism has important theoretical value and application value.Learning is the main activity in primary school, and tutoring children in learning is the important content of parent-child interaction in primary school. The research on young children found that parents’ executive function could be mediated by activities related to executive function, rather than mediated by general parenting behavior. Therefore,in the primary school stage, compared with the general situation of parental autonomous support, parental autonomous support in the academic situation has a special impact on the development of executive function of children in the primary school stage.Based on this, the purpose of this study is to investigate whether the intergenerational transmission of executive function of primary school children is affected by parental autonomous support, especially in the academic context. The specific research is as follows:Study 1: Research tool arrangement and development.Firstly, this study revised the Parental Autonomic Support Scale, and the results showed that it has good reliability and validity. It can be used as a formal measuring tool to measure parents’ autonomous support in general daily life situations, and it is suitable for parents of primary school children.Further, this study developed the "Academic Situation Parental Autonomic Support Scale",using questionnaire survey, expert consultation method, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation and other research methods, and developed three dimensions(Dimension1: warmth, encouragement, respect, permission to express opinions;Dimension 2: the view of learning self-support;Dimension 3: the learning characteristics of children),a total of 14 item parents academic autonomy support scale, academic autonomy support parents scale comprehensive consideration the internal consistency reliability and validity of validity and differentiate validity, structure validity and criterion validity, using tools contain the independent support scale of parents, the parents upbringing and the dimension of the questionnaire. The results showed that all the dimensions of the scale met the requirements of psychometrics, and the scale had better structural validity, discriminative validity, content validity and criterion validity, which could be used as a good measurement tool for parents’ autonomous support in academic context.Study 2: The influence mechanism of parental autonomous support on intergenerational transmission of executive function. The parents of primary school children from grade 1 to grade 3 were taken as the research objects.By measuring the parents’ executive function, children’s executive function, and parents’ autonomous support in general and academic situations,a chain-mediated model was established. To explore the effects of parental executive function on children’s executive function through general parental autonomous support and academic autonomous support. The main research conclusions are as follows:1)There is intergenerational transmission of parental executive function and children’s executive function;2)parents autonomy support from their parents and executive function did not intermediary role influence children’s executive function, independent academic support parents executive function in the parents and children’s executive function influence plays an intermediary role, parents generally autonomy academic support and parents support executive function in the parents and children’s executive function influence chain intermediary role;3)The intergenerational transmission of parental executive function and children’s executive function is influenced by parental autonomous support. |
