Pop art is an important art movement originated in the West in the 1950 s and1960s.Its creative ideas and forms of expression are closely related to the commercial society and consumer culture at that time.With its anti-traditional ideology and attention to mass culture,Pop art reflects the cultural view,consumption view and art view at that time.Although the limelight of pop art has passed,its unique artistic expression and style characteristics are still widely spread in the field of consumerism culture,known as “Pop style”.As a carrier to spread commodity information and services,commercial photography also comes from commercial society and consumer culture.In today’s new media era,the public pays more attention to the interest and efficiency of commercial information transmission,which brings higher requirements and greater challenges to commercial photography.Therefore,the creation concept and style characteristics of pop art into the creation of commercial photography can not only bring new forms of artistic expression and style characteristics for commercial photography,but also expand the artistic boundary of commercial photography and enhance its visual impact and artistic appeal.This fusion is not only a recessive continuation of pop style,but also a valuable research direction.In the process of integration,commercial photography can learn from the expression methods and techniques of pop art,such as bright colors,simple forms and repetitive images,so as to create more creative and visual impact commercial works.At the same time,commercial photography can also inject more commercial elements and realism into pop style,making it more in line with the aesthetic taste and needs of modern mass culture.The purpose of this thesis is to explore how commercial photography draws on Pop style expression techniques.The first chapter will start from the Pop style,introduce the research theme,and through the analysis of domestic and foreign research status,clarify the purpose and significance of the research.The second chapter will explain the theoretical overview of pop style and commercial photography respectively,and analyze the integration of Pop style and commercial photography.The third chapter will deeply explore the application and expression ways of Pop style in commercial photography,and summarize the influence of Pop style on commercial photography in the three aspects of “graphic language”,“techniques and techniques”and “image expression”,so as to explore the integration of Pop style and commercial photography.The fourth chapter applies the theoretical research results of the thesis to personal graduation creation practice to verify the application effect of pop style in commercial photography.Chapter five will summarize the value of applying pop style to commercial photography and discuss how to promote the diversified development of commercial photography.Through the research of this thesis,the commercial function and artistic function are compatible with pop style commercial photography,to explore and promote the integration and diversification of commercial photography,so that it can shine in the environment of consumer society.
