Research On The Application Of Visual Metaphors In Creative Photography

As a branch of metaphor,visual metaphor is a visual expression independent of speech,and has become a unique aesthetic category in modern and postmodern art.Visual metaphor is a way of thinking and a visual means with rich expressiveness,integrating visual metaphor into the creation of creative photography can provide a problem-oriented interpretive perspective for photography creation,and help the presentation of text visualization,becoming a direct driving force for creators to get out of the dilemma of expression,helping creative photography creativity to continue undiminished,visual form and connotation increasing.Through literature research methods,case analysis methods,interdisciplinary research methods and other research methods,this thesis comprehensively analyzes and deeply studies the application of visual metaphors in creative photography.Firstly,this thesis systematically expounds the concepts of creative photography and visual metaphor,analyzes the characteristics of creative photography,clarifies the development context of visual metaphor and its aesthetic value,and discusses the application significance of visual metaphor in creative photography.Secondly,on the basis of the existing theoretical analysis,the application and expression methods of visual metaphor in creative photography are analyzed,including three methods:anti-meridianism,tactile bypassing and integration,and combined with classic cases,they are analyzed one by one.Finally,this thesis takes the photographic series "Sea Water Swaying into Fire" as an example to verify the feasibility and operability of the application path of visual metaphor in creative photography one by one,and through the discussion of the application and performance of visual metaphor in creative photography,it determines the extraction of visual elements,the use of associative thinking and the construction of projection mode three methods for constructing visual metaphors in creative photography,providing photography artists with a new scheme for creating visual metaphors,and injecting deeper semantics into the core of the work.It helps to combine creative forms and deep thinking in creative photography.
