| With the rapid development of modern science and technology and medicine,academic exchanges between medical workers and scholars at home and abroad in medicine are becoming more and more frequent.As an important branch of medical research,medical imaging theory,technology and equipment are more and more widely used in the medical field,and play a very important role.In order to promote the communication between medical imaging researchers and relevant scholars,and provide relevant practitioners with references to medical imaging related knowledge,translating medical literature has become increasingly important.Taking the Chinese translation of medical imaging literature as an example,this report expounds the main content and language features of the original text,and puts forward the key points and difficult points and translation strategies in translating medical literature in combination with the relevant theories and principles of functional equivalence.This report consists of five parts.Chapter One briefly introduces the background,requirements and significance of the translation task;Chapter Two elaborates the translation procedure,including preparation before translation,translation process and quality control after translation;Chapter Three introduces the content of functional equivalence theory and its application in medical literature translation;Chapter Four puts forward the skills and methods of E-C translation of medical imaging literature from the perspective of vocabulary,syntax and text.Chapter Five summarizes the findings,raises problems and deficiencies,and puts forward reasonable suggestions for future translation studies.The study indicates that the functional equivalence theory has a strong guiding significance for E-C translation of medical literature.Based on the basic concepts of the functional equivalence theory:closeness,naturalness and equivalence,the author adopts translation strategies such as transformation of parts of speech,literal translation,division,grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion means to focus on solving some translation problems in the translation of complex sentences and passive sentences and achieving functional equivalence between the target text and the original text in terms of vocabulary,syntax,and text. |
