A Study On The Narrative Strategy Of Realistic Drama Films

The new century is a new opportunity for the development of Chinese film.With the full development of China’s film industrialization practice,the proportion of realistic film creation in the overall film industry has also been significantly increased,and has been widely concerned.Excellent reality-themed films present the original appearance of life or criticize social reality,guide people to think with artistic expression,and reveal the truth contained in history and the social phenomenon behind it.This thesis utilizes the author’s graduation work,Flooding of the Internet,as a case study to examine and analyze the narrative strategies employed in realistic drama.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter explains background,significance,and research methods of realistic themed films,as well as analyzing the current research situation at home and abroad;The second chapter clarifies the definition and characteristics of realistic themed plot films,and provides a brief overview of the narrative strategy related to it,including analyzing the relevant elements in the narrative strategy;In the third chapter,the characterization of fictional characters in realistic themed plot films,focusing on the characteristics of people in Flooding of the Internet and the "matrix"-style building of relationships;In the fourth chapter,the narrative structure and narrative space of realistic themed plot films are analyzed.The layout of the narrative structure and narrative space of Flooding of the Internet are interpreted;In the fifth chapter,the narrative skills of realistic themed plot film Flooding of the Internet are analyzed and deepened the theme thought;In the sixth chapter,the overall creation is reviewed and summarized.Through an analysis of its narrative strategy,it thoroughly examines the strengths and weaknesses of the creative process behind the film,and actively proposes optimization plans for future creators in this genre.
