Narrative Analysis Of Rural Documentary

As a documentary with agriculture,countryside and farmers as its main themes,rural documentaries bear the important functions of recording rural changes,telling rural stories and spreading local culture.The report to the 19 th CPC National Congress stressed that "solving the problems concerning agriculture,rural areas and farmers" should be a top priority,and for the first time put forward a rural revitalization strategy.Under the influence of urbanization and rural revitalization strategy,great historical changes are taking place in rural China.Rural documentaries are of great significance as important film and television documents to record The Times.How to tell good rural stories through documentaries is an urgent problem to be solved.This paper focuses on the research of "rural theme documentary narration",using literature research method,case study method and induction and summary method,combined with narratology and documentary story-oriented narrative theory,to analyze the well-created rural theme documentary narration and explore the unique narrative characteristics of rural theme documentary.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background,research purpose and significance of the paper as well as the research status at home and abroad.Combining with the theory and practice of rural documentary narrative development of a detailed comb.The second part defines the rural theme documentary and analyzes the narrative construction of rural theme documentary,and finally introduces the theoretical basis of the research--documentary storytelling.The third part explores the narrative theme and humanistic concern of the rural documentary "Chasing Dreams in the Fragrance of Rice".The fourth part analyzes the narrative strategy of the rural documentary "Chasing Dreams in the Fragrance of Rice" from three aspects: storytelling narrative technique,sequential narrative structure based on traditional solar terms,and spatial narrative presentation of real three-dimensional countryside.The fifth part analyzes the creation value and reflection of "Chasing Dreams in the Fragrance of Rice".It is hoped that this paper can provide theoretical and practical reference for the narrative theory and creation of rural documentaries.
