Study On The Han Feizi’s Nan Pian

The "Nan Pian" is a rich and colorful set of articles in the book "Han Feizi",expressing Han Feizi’s political views in a novel form of discourse.From the perspective of the thoughts in the "Nan Pian" chapter,it is a profound reflection of Han Fei’s Legalist ideology;In terms of the analysis of the argumentation process,it is a logically rigorous system of argumentation,which is unique in pre Qin argumentation writings and reflects Han Fei’s sharp and sharp language style;From the perspective of literary value,the style of "Nan Pian" is unique,creating a new style of argumentative writing-the "Nan Pian" style,which has a profound impact on later literary creation;From the historical stories cited,it is a rich historical material.This article takes the "Nan Pian" chapter as the research object,and combines it with the book "Han Feizi" to study the relevant issues of the "Nan Pian" chapter.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,it is divided into three chapters:Chapter 1: Conduct research on the four basic issues of the "Nan Pian".The first is the study of the issue of authenticity,which summarizes and finds new evidence based on previous research to prove that the "Nan Pian" is undoubtedly written by Han Fei;The second is the study of writing time,which provides a rough definition of the writing time of certain chapters in the "Nan Pian" and proposes a new viewpoint,that is,the "Nan Si Pian " is an early work of Han Fei;The third is the study of the nature of the text,which agrees with the research views of previous scholars and believes that the "Nan Pian" is a set of articles that "criticize the behavior of predecessors who are different from themselves".The fourth is the study of ideological content,which aims to identify chapters that contradict the ideas of the "Nan Pian" through comparison and analyze their reasons.Chapter 2: Research on the Debate of the "Nan Pian".Through a detailed analysis of the argumentation process of the "Nan Pian",it is found that its unique forms of argumentation can be divided into simple and complex forms;Guided by the idea of "using function as the foundation",Han Fei used various methods and techniques to refute historical stories and argue his own views in his arguments,such as using logic,skillfully defining,shifting topics,and borrowing from the topic.However,there are also issues such as inappropriate use of arguments,fallacies in formal logic,sophistry,and exaggeration of the role of the law.Chapter 3: Research on the citation of historical stories in "Nan Pian".A horizontal comparison was made between the "Nan Pian" chapter and the book "Han Feizi".On the one hand,a comparison was made on the way historical stories were cited,and it was found that the "Nan" style and the "Jing Shuo" style have a transitional effect in terms of content arrangement.On the other hand,by comparing the historical stories in "Han Feizi" with those in "Nan Pian",it was found that these types of historical stories can be divided into one vector form and multiple vector forms.At the same time,there are two main reasons for further analyzing the use of historical stories,one is the ambiguity in understanding historical stories,and the other is that these historical stories shape typical character images,making them typical.Through this comparative study,it is beneficial to further study the arrangement and application of historical stories in "Han Feizi".In short,this thesis is a detailed study of the relevant issues of the "Nan Pian" chapter,based on the careful interpretation and analysis of the "Nan Pian" and the comparison with the entire book "Han Feizi",referring to previous research results.
