| This paper employs the theory of three planes of grammar to conduct a comprehensive study of the hypothetical construction"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q"in Modern Chinese from the perspectives of syntax,semantics,and pragmatics.On this basis,by closely integrating ontological and applied research and referencing the"Three-in-One Grammar"theory,targeted teaching designs are proposed.The paper is divided into five chapters:The introduction section introduces the research topic,research object,research status,research significance,research theory,and research methods,and explains the source of the data.Chapter 1 conducts a syntactic analysis of the hypothetical construction"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q"based on corpus analysis.It is pointed out that the hypothetical construction"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q"is composed of the front component"yàoshi(要是)p"and the back component"kàn(看)q."The front component"yàoshi(要是)p"assumes that a certain situation occurs,while the back component"kàn(看)q"indicates the hypothetical result.There are four common structural types of"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q":"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)s zěnme(bàn)(怎么办)/rúhé(如何)v","yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)s bù(不)v","yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)s v bù(不)v",and"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)s A bù(不)A."Chapter 2 conducts a semantic analysis of the hypothetical construction"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q."The form of this construction can express exhortation and warning,and warning can be further divided into strong warning and weak warning.Chapter 3 conducts a pragmatic analysis of the hypothetical construction"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q."In terms of pragmatics,this construction has a strong oral language style and interpersonal interaction function.It can express the speaker’s intention and has a subsequent force.Depending on the context,this construction has two usage scenarios:warning and dissuasion,they have a strong link.Chapter 4 proposes a teaching plan for the hypothetical construction"yàoshi(要是)p,kàn(看)q"based on the"Three-in-One Grammar"theory.Relevant teaching methods,ontological and applied research and corresponding teaching strategies are put forward to produce scientifically effective instructional designs.Provide some reference and guidance for the teaching of this construction in Chinese as a foreign language.The conclusion section summarizes the main research content,innovations,and shortcomings of the paper. |
