Research And Creation Of Watercolor Still Life Painting

The creation materials of watercolor paintings come from a wide range of sources.Other paintings take "still lives" as creation objects,while watercolor paintings take "still lives" as creation materials.The "still lives" in watercolor paintings show different expressiveness and unique artistic value and aesthetic value.As a foreign type of paining,watercolor paintings have been deeply integrated into Chinese culture,but there is still a problem of "sino-foreign combination",“make foreign things serve China” and how to adapt to the development of the era.On basis of looking up a great number of books related to watercolor paintings and its history and sorting out domestic and foreign research results and in combination with the authors experiences and thoughts of watercolor paintings for many years,this paper analyzes the expression modes of watercolor paintings themed on still lives,describes the creation process of Physical Image of Construction Site,and deeply thinks the early exploration of creation,creation intention and conception,creation emotion expression,etc.Research shows that the creation process of watercolor paintings themed on still lives is a process of combining "techniques" with "values".“Techniques” are various creation techniques,while "values" are ideological value and social value reflected by the paintings themselves.Current researches on watercolor paintings themed on still lives focus on "techniques" but dont take "values" seriously enough.Such a phenomenon is more or less existing in current artistic fields,leading to a result of creating just for the sake of creation but appearing not to know for whom to create.Based on this idea,this paper insists on attaching equal importance to "techniques" and "values" in research process,studies "techniques" on basis of "values",and describes "values" during research of "techniques".Not only modeling,composition,color,light and shadow,material,technique and other technical issues,but also the issues at the level of social value including creation idea,emotional expression,how to present excellent paintings,how to offer positive artistic enjoyment,etc are studied with purpose of striving to make breakthroughs in researches on watercolor paintings themed on still lives in such as "balance".According to research,artists and painters express their feelings by means of carriers including watercolor paintings.Their feelings should be based on being beneficial to society,but cannot become just the expression and release of the feelings of artists and painters.Artists and painters cannot lose contact with life,especially the life of most ordinary people,but they should consciously reflect the life of ordinary people.The watercolor paintings including those themed on still lives will surely give out more dazzling brilliance by insisting on the creation rule of "Arts come from life but are higher than life".This paper specifically records the researches,practices,inspirations and reflections of watercolor paintings themed on still lives.It is divided into five parts.Part 1 introduces the research background,research objective and research status at home and abroad.Part 2briefly describes the development and status of watercolor paintings themed on still lives.Part 3 studies the expression modes of watercolor paintings themed on still lives from aspects of modelling,composition,color,shadow,material,media and expression technique in combination with the painters and their paintings.Part 4 is the most important part.It introduces the creation practice and records the early exploration of creation as well as the creation process and emotional expression of Physical Image of Construction Site.Party 5 summarizes creation problems,inspirations and reflections.
