Don Farrell,British contemporary watercolor painter.His paintings form of give attention to two or more things,both by the medium of new materials,the influence of the thought idea,and derive the Andrew Wyeth,Morandi essence of people such as painting,arguably his watercolors in a collection of tradition and innovation.Farrell’s works are novel,unique and unique,and they use ordinary and simple things to show his quiet life attitude.Among them,give a person the most intuitive feelings is his unique form of expression,in general,art form is content of art performance way,is the result of the content of external,have an important position in the work of art.In his watercolor works,harmonious and stable structure,plain and elegant atmosphere,interesting texture,unique personality and will have to do things one by one with the aid of this unique form of expression in front of our eyes.This paper takes the expression form of Don Farrell’s watercolor painting as the entry point,and makes a collation and analysis of his art works,mainly from four aspects.The first part outlines the Don Farrell watercolor style,form,analyses its concept of painting is impacted by the multicultural(including Andrew Wyeth,Morandi,the effects of his art history)and their different from traditional creation concept;The second part analyzes the manifestation of the watercolor painting of Don Farrell,mainly from three aspects: geometry of space and form,relative balance and expressive material;The third part mainly reveals the characteristics of the expression of Don Farrell’s watercolor painting,including the simple feelings of "being small and big" and the display of artistic conception in the picture.The fourth part focuses on the inspiration of Don Farrell’s watercolor painting and its influence on the expression form and spirit expression of my subjectivity in creation.
