Research On Narrative Strategy Of Natural Ecological Documentary

Nature gives birth to all things,embraces all things,and from nature we take everything we need to survive.In the past two centuries,the rapid development of human civilization and the leapfrog progress of science and technology have greatly increased the speed of human transformation of nature.However,the ambition of human conquest of nature has broken the original balance,and the frequent occurrence of natural ecological environment problems has aroused the attention of the whole world.In this context,more and more documentary creators focus on the field of natural ecology and create a series of excellent natural ecological documentary works."Narrative strategy" has always been one of the research hotspots in the field of documentary.The selection and application of narrative strategy in natural ecological documentary can make the narration of this type of documentary more smooth.Therefore,the topic of "Narrative strategy research of natural ecological documentary" has wide practical significance and research space.This study focuses on the core element of the narrative strategy of natural ecological documentaries.Based on the previous researches,the author first summarizes the definition and development process of natural ecological documentaries,defines the scope of the research object,combines the theories of narratiology,film and television narratiology,and analyzes the cases of outstanding natural ecological documentaries at home and abroad in recent years.And combined with their own practical creation experience,summed up the natural ecological documentary presented narrative strategy.In terms of specific content,this study from the three dimensions of narrative value,narrative technique and narrative language,in-depth study of the characteristics of the narrative strategy of natural ecological documentaries.The author expounds the narrative value of the natural ecological documentary from the aesthetic value and communication value,and puts forward that the aesthetic value of the natural ecological documentary is embodied in showing the harmonious beauty of the resonance of all things in nature and the documentary beauty of reproducing the appearance of nature,and the communication value is embodied in the popularization and cross-cultural communication of the ecological idea to build the national image.The author analyzes the narrative techniques of natural ecological documentaries from the perspective of narrative,narrative techniques and narrative structure.The narrative perspectives of natural ecological documentaries embody the characteristics of combining grand narrative with micro narrative.The narrative techniques are embodied in three aspects:story-oriented narrative,emotional narrative and anthropomorphic narrative.The narrative structure can be summarized as the gradual time structure,the centered structure of the theme and the polyphony structure of the multi-narrative.In terms of narrative language,visual language uses light,shadow,color and special lens to interpret mysterious and distant natural space,while auditory language uses sound,commentary and music to construct a real and touching ecological environment.In a word,the use of these narrative strategies brings unique aesthetic experience to the audience,constructs the emotional connection between man and nature,brings people’s thinking and enlightenment on natural ecology through the documentary,and ultimately influences people to transform their love and awe for nature into practical actions,and helps natural ecological documentaries realize their communication value.Now,as one of the popular types of documentary,the natural ecological documentary has strong communication power and influence all over the world.Our natural ecological documentary started late,compared with the mature production of foreign countries also have a gap.In the last chapter,based on the summary of the narrative strategy of the natural ecological documentary in the previous paper,the author concludes the deficiency and looks into the prospect.From the international perspective,the horizontal comparison of domestic and foreign natural ecological documentaries puts forward that Chinese natural ecological documentaries still have shortcomings in the narrative strategy of topic selection limited space and strong education meaning,and from the perspectives of new media and new technology,put forward that natural ecological documentaries should embrace new media and increase the innovation strategy of new science and technology in the narrative strategy.In general,this research provides a new perspective for the creation and research of natural ecological documentaries,and contributes its own strength to the development of natural ecological documentaries.
