The study of disaster literature has always been an important focus in the academia. In recent years, with more and more documents unearthed, scholars have paid more attention to the content about disaster.Since the bamboo slips were unearthed in the Han Dynasty tomb of Yinque Mountain, the academia has been studying them deeply. However, most of the research focuses on the content of military science, ignoring the important value of disaster literature contained in them. This thesis interprets and expounds the disaster literature of the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs and compares it with other handed down documents and unearthed documents. In addition to interpreting the content of the disaster literature of Yinque Mountain, this paper analyzes the ideological connotation behind it,and gives a glimpse of the zeitgeist reflected in it.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part is the interpretation of three representative texts of disaster in the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs. This thesis focus on interpreter the following three chapters“Response for the Activities out of Time”,“Response for Bad Governance” and “Response for Bad character of Monarch”.The text content of the three chapters is being analyzed, and the opinions of experts and scholars are expounded.By summarizing their opinions, the author puts forward her own ideas and views.Although the three chapters all record the disasters incurred, their emphases are different.“Response for the Activities out of Time” mainly records the disasters caused by the violation of the natural order,“Response for Bad Governance” focuses on the disasters caused by the monarch’s failure to govern the country, while “Response for Bad Character of Monarch” mainly refers to the disasters caused by the monarch’s moral loss. The three are different, but together constitute the main content of the thought of the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs. The second part is the ideological analysis of the catastrophes recorded in the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs, from philosophy, politics, economy and social culture. In this period, the philosophical thoughts of “nature and man” and “Yin and Yang and the five elements”were clearly reflected in the records of disasters on bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs. The thought of “Yin and Yang and the five elements” was a very important component of tthe bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs, which have a far-reaching influence both at that time and later.Political thought is the core content of the thought system of disaster on bamboo skeins in the Han tombs of Yinqueshan, which includes the thought of denouncing disaster and the thought of affiliated with disaster and the thought of self-confession of disaster.Disaster not only provides theoretical support for the power of rulers, but also restricts the power of the monarch to a certain extent. At the same time, the economic thoughts are reflected in it,such as balancing the poor and emphasizing agriculture and suppressing commerce, were also important components of the ideological system of disaster in this period. The description of sacrifice and disaster relief also directly reflects the social and cultural environment in this period. The third part is the comparison between the disaster theory in the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs and Guan Zi,Tsinghua Slips’ Five Ji’s and Dong Zhongshu’s disaster theory. The bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs and the three are the representatives of the disaster thoughts of the same period. In comparison with the three,we can not only see the main characteristics of the disaster thoughts in this period from their common points, but also analyze the special significance of each in different points. In the comparison with and elaboration of unearthed and handed down documents,we can get a glimpse of the Warring States,Qin and Han dynasties of the thoughts of disaster. The fourth part explores the disaster trend of thoughts in the Qin and Han dynasties from the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs. The reign of the Qin Dynasty was short, but the concept of the Mandate of Heaven and the thoughts of Yin and Yang and the five elements developed continuously, and their status rose continuously during this period, which provide theoretical support for the later development and systematization of the thoughts of disaster.Disaster thought developed continuously in the Han Dynasty.Disaster thought flourished and had a high status in the ruling class. It provided the basis for the rule of the monarch. As one of the representative works of the Qin and Han Dynasties, the thoughts reflected in the bamboo slips disaster literature in the Han tombs of Yinqueshan are the epitome of the social trend of thought in this period. In the interpretation and study of the literature of catastrophe on the bamboo slips From Yinqueshan Han tombs,we can understand the reasons for the prevalence of catastrophe thought at that time, and further analyze its increasingly obvious strengthening and restricting effect on the monarchy. The prevalence of catastrophe thought in the Qin and Han Dynasties promoted the birth of the thought of prophecy, which had far-reaching influence on the later generations.
