The concept of literary production is not ancient and this concept is a recent "discovery".Since the development of capitalism,or under the theoretical interpretation of Marxism,the creation of literary and artistic works has been compared to a branch of material production,that is,literary and artistic works are produced.As a kind of production activity,literary and artistic creation activities also belong to the category of material production and are restricted by the mode of production.The transformation from literary and artistic creation to literary and artistic production reveals the close connection between literary and artistic creation and social structure.Based on this,Jameson created his own theory,Jameson believes that literary production cannot be separated from external social factors such as economy and politics,and examines the entire link of literary and artistic production from a dialectical,historic,and totalized perspective.On this basis,it is proposed that literary and artistic production as a form has an overall aspect to its core,that is,although the literary and artistic forms in different periods have changed,there are still layers of connection with the narrative mechanism.Therefore,in the face of various literary and artistic forms from all directions,Jameson advocates the use of the concept of "cultural dominance" to coordinate the situation of literary and artistic production,and expresses the desire for collective narrative and utopian narrative in the emerging forms of literary and artistic production.The full text is divided into five parts:The introduction part mainly introduces the research background and significance of the topic,the current research status at home and abroad,and the innovation points.The first chapter starts from the theoretical concept of "literary production" and comprehensively explains the specific meaning and specific characteristics of Jameson’s theory of literary production.It mainly takes the relationship between literary and artistic works and material production and history as the starting point,indicating that literary and artistic production is not a purely spiritual activity,but has a close relationship with the structure of the entire society.The second chapter starts from the dialectic of capitalism and emphasizes that capital becomes the main driving force of the functioning of society.The relationship between capitalism and literary and artistic production is further clarified,and the specific content and form of literary and artistic production are analyzed and analyzed how the development of capitalism in different periods has affected and shaped the specific content and form of literary and artistic production.The chapter three starts from the discontinuity of historical periods and reveals that there is a break between each stage of literary and artistic production,that is,the change of literary and artistic forms of realism,modernism and postmodernism.In addition to elaborating on the level of heterogeneity between the three periods,it will also reflect the common level of the three periods.The chapter four starts from the style theory of Jameson’s literary production theory,discusses Jameson’s criticism and interpretation of the current situation of literary and artistic production,so as to gain insight into Jameson’s future vision of literary production-collective narrative,which is Jameson’s intention to conceive a collective utopian narrative with the help of emerging forms of literary and artistic production.The innovation of this project lies in the fact that,firstly,the concept of "literary production" is used to integrate Jameson’s theoretical views on literature and art,so that Jameson’s interpretation and criticism of literary and artistic works in different periods can be seen more clearly;Secondly,in these interpretations and criticisms,the deep theoretical logic of "historicization,totalization and dialectics" is explored. |
