Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness are one of the important genres of printmaking in China.Under the leadership of the famous printmaker Chaomei and others,they innovated the artistic expression techniques and replaced the black and white colors of traditional prints with brilliant colors;The life in the barren reclamation area mainly reflects the spirit of the the Great Northern Wilderness,thus forming a new genre with a unique artistic style.Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness merged with the political,economic,and cultural characteristics of the society at that time.Therefore,the excavation and sorting out of the development history of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness have very important practical significance and historical value for the theoretical foundation of contemporary Chinese printmaking.Based on the development of time,this article analyzes the causes of the print art of the Great Northern Wilderness and its artistic style at different stages of development.Through the analysis of the works of representative painters of the Great Northern Wilderness in different periods,it summarizes the artistic characteristics of the printmaking of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness.In terms of the impact on contemporary prints,a systematic combing and in-depth study was carried out.First,this article conducts a historical investigation of the causes of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness.Starting from the political and historical background,this paper analyzes the causes of the print style of the Great Northern Wilderness,and demonstrates the important influence of regional and group characteristics in the formation of the unique artistic style of printmaking by the Great Northern Wilderness.Secondly,this article divides the development process of the print art of the Great Northern Wilderness into early chromatographic prints of the Great Northern Wilderness,watermark woodblock prints in the middle of the Great Northern Wilderness and printmaking of the Great Northern Wilderness in the new period,and demonstrates the artistic style of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness in different periods.The artist groups of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness in different development periods played an important role in the transformation of their artistic style.Third,this article analyzes the artistic styles of representative painters in different periods of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness in detail and the artistic expression of representative works.Finally,this article discusses the development status of printmaking in the Great Northern Wilderness and its influence on the development of Chinese printmaking art.The prints of the Great Northern Wilderness not only opened up new forms of artistic expression in Chinese printmaking,but also created a new pattern of modern printmaking in China.To sum up,this article takes the Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness as the research object of the thesis,combined with the analysis of the artistic style of printmaking works of the Great Northern Wilderness print artists such as Chaomei and Hao Boyi,analyze the development of Engraving in the Great Northern Wilderness,and provide your own insights for the creation of contemporary print art.
