A Study On The Art Form Of The Image Of Water-moon Guanyin In Dunhuang Murals In The Western Xia Dynasty

The Xixia Water-moon Guanyin mural is an important work of art that can represent the level of Xixia’s painting,and it is also one of the manifestations of the Dangxiang ethnic spiritual culture.It has important research significance.The unique art form of Xixia Water-moon Guanyin murals reflects the religious and artistic features of Chinese ethnic minorities in the evolution of Water-moon Guanyin.The image of Water-moon Guanyin,as a native Chinese Guanyin image,has been studied a lot on its religious significance and artistic style,but there are few longitudinal analogy studies on the art forms of Water-moon Guanyin in various periods.Through the analogy analysis of the image of Water-moon Guanyin in various periods,it studies the inheritance and developmental effect of the image of Water-moon Guanyin in Xixia period in its evolution,and explores the origin and influence of the image innovation of Water-moon Guanyin in Xixia.This topic uses the method of comprehensive research,through the analysis and summary of the existing literature and field investigation and verification,reintegration and historical staging are carried out on the relics of the Dunhuang Water-moon Guanyin murals and the Xixia Water-moon Guanyin murals.Summarized the historical background of the Water Moon Guanyin in Xixia and the origin and purpose of the statue of Water-moon Guanyin,and sorted out its historical context and religious significance.Combining the characteristics of design disciplines,through analogy research and iconographic research methods,aiming at the art form of Water-moon Guanyin murals,combing and researching from three aspects of composition modeling,subject matter content,and painting techniques,summarizing the artistic characteristics according to the art form.The main painting elements are extracted from the distinctive features of Yulin Grotto 2 Cave(mainly the Central Plains painting style)and Yulin Grotto 29 Cave(mainly Tibetan painting style),the main painting elements are extracted,combined with the basic principles of interface design and current popular Elements,designed the "Xixia Mural" APP interface design,and differentiated into different styles of day and night mode according to the different styles of art forms of the two caves.Try to use APP interface design as a carrier to provide a new form for inheriting and developing Xixia art in the new era.
