Exploration Of Contemporary Chinese Folk Oil Painting Creation

In contemporary society,with the continuous development of science and technology,Chinese traditional culture and folk customs have been violently impacted by current fashion culture.In traditional Chinese society,24 solar terms have a high position in people’s lives.The seasonal changes and farming activities are inseparable from the time coordinates set by the 24 solar terms.Nowadays,people living in cities have gradually ignore the twenty-four solar terms,and the time standard established by the 24 solar terms is no longer needed in daily life.Under this background,it is of profound practical significance to explore folk oil paintings in the art field.On the basis of the development of folk oil painting and combing the concept of twenty-four solar terms,this paper explores the expression of folk culture theme in oil painting creation.Exemplifying the representative oil paintings with 24 solar terms and folk themes in contemporary China,this paper sums up the visual presentation state,spiritual connotation and aesthetic value of the oil paintings with 24 solar terms and folk themes in contemporary Chinese oil paintings.Based on theoretical research,this paper expounds the basic process of expressing oil paintings with twenty-four solar terms and folk themes by using "monochrome" painting language,and summarizes the ideas and thoughts of creation.It is hoped that this study will provide some theoretical research basis and practical cases for folk custom subjects,and at the same time find out the shortcomings of this study and put forward research prospects,so as to lay the foundation for further in-depth research.
