Music learning experience is the knowledge or skill accumulated by learners through a series of music performances,music creation,music appreciation,basic music knowledge and music knowledge and music recording knowledge.This paper aims to investigate the music learning experience of non Music Majors in Hunan Province and the mastery of their music characteristics,and to study and analyze the correlation between the music learning experience of college students and the degree of musical literacy.At the same time,the author makes statistics on their music learning experience and music literacy,understands the current situation and difference of music education of non music majors,and tries to analyze the deficiency of music education status and the reasons for the differences.The questionnaire includes three parts.The first part is the basic information of college students,including the origin of students,whether they like music,etc.;the second part is the music characteristics survey,which is the author’s written music characteristics listening and defense;the third part is the music learning experience survey of College students,mainly including whether they have studied musical instruments / singing,whether they have participated in Chorus / Orchestra / and Group activities related to music,years of study,etc.Through the statistics,sorting and analysis of the results of the questionnaire,the conclusion is drawn: the music learning experience of college students can improve their ability to grasp the characteristics of music and have an impact on the level of their musical literacy.
