Among the traditional domain of musicology, studying music theory and history problems are accustomed to a seemingly self-explanatory concept of musical works as a starting point. However, with the avant-garde works of art on the established concept have disruptive impact, and also with the idea of diversification of the Perspective extravagant profusion of many musical and cultural phenomena,"What is the musical work" arises once again. Throughout the course of development of Western music,"musical works" formally established around1800, as a self-disciplined and normative concept. Then, the concept of musical works came into public awareness authentically and became the main part of musical practice activity. Taking music works and musical works conception on as research objects and sensibility-aesthetic experience as an entry point, this paper explores related aesthetic issue of musical work conception from history and aesthetics.The paper consists of three parts:introduction, the main content and conclusions.The paper starts with introducing the motivations, meanings and potential value of this paper, and also a review of the existent research and finding in the related area.The Main body consists of three parts. Chapter I illustrates several important concepts involved in this paper and explains their theoretical status and scope definition. Meanwhile, in the process of discussing the related concepts, this part discusses the involved key concepts and their relationships as well as provides a necessary analysis and thoughtful prerequisite for the issues.Chapter2explains the independence of western music as art, which is deemed the historical promise of "be the music works" in this paper. Chapter2also analyses the establishment of classic music paradigm around1800, a historical period when the music works conception played a normative role. The analysis covers forms, genre, aesthetic appeal of music works and so on in aesthetics history and music history about the18th century to the early19th century, in order to seek the historical basis of "be the music works". With this chapter, I will explore historical factors of forming the sensibility-aesthetic experience.Chapter3explains sensibility-aesthetic experience of music works, aesthetic experience of music works conception and conceptual experience. Also analyses the relationships between sensibility-aesthetic experience and music works, sensibility-aesthetic experience and music works conception, sensibility-aesthetic experience and conceptual experience, conceptual experience and music works conception. Then, deduces the relationship between music works conception and sensibility-aesthetic experience.In the conclusion part, I will sum up the main themes of this paper, and present future research directions as well.The innovation of this paper is exploring of relationships among music works, music works conception and sensibility-aesthetic experience, and proposing a new interpretation of conceptual experience. This paper provides a new thought and approach for the music works conception research.
