| The bowing plays a vital role in the erhu performance.It affects the quality of the erhu’s sound,the mood of the piece,and the expression of the music’s emotion.The aim of this paper is a discussion of the relationship between the bowing technique of the erhu and the emotional interpretation of the piece.The research and discussion in this paper is based on the subject of "Water of the River",and the author’s own experience in playing the piece and the interpretation of "Water of the River" by Min Huifen,to explore how the bow grip,the bow movement and the related bowing technique of the erhu affect the emotion and mood of the erhu performance.Through this study,the author hopes to further explore the role of the erhu bow in performance,and also to explore how to better reflect the composer’s intentions and the musical connotations of the piece after mastering a variety of erhu bowing techniques. |
